CLEP testing is a tool for students to use in order to earn college credit. Students study various resources then take the test. A passing grade is 50% in this college level testing.
New to WEST this year are the CLEP classes. Students will gather at the WEST building once a month for an in-person, group intreaction. The remainder of the month, students will be interacting via computer with one another and the tutor. WEST is offering these classes in the form of monthly meetings and computer groups lead by an experienced CLEP tutor. Fall semester brings three CLEP classes with the Spring semester rounding out the year with another three - American Government, Biology and Western Civilization I.
You will find these classes to be thorough and interactive in person as well as via the computer groups.
WEST is beginning to grow the CLEP class option this year and looks forward to the success of our students in this area!
